Keep a Claude turn open past a turn the CLI runs by itself
A Claude message sent right after a restart no longer finishes empty while its real answer goes unseen.
If a session had a background task running (for example a sleep Claude had moved into the background) and the executor restarted, the next message could finish at once as “completed” with no reply. The real answer arrived after the turn had closed, so the app never showed it.
On resume, Claude’s CLI runs a short turn of its own to report the stopped task. The runner mistook that turn’s result for the end of yours. It now tracks which turn the CLI reports as started, and only the result of your own turn ends it.
